§ 23. Mr. ATKEYasked the Minister of Transport whether, in view of the fact that he has no legal power to require the Midland Railway Company to reopen the closed exit to their Nottingham station, he will press upon them the desirability of taking this step in order to allay the local irritation and ill-feeling which will exist until the convenience is restored to the travelling public, as shown in the humble petition which was presented to this House by 18,000 users of the station at a time when the petitioners believed that power to grant their petition was vested in his Ministry?
