HC Deb 29 April 1920 vol 128 c1407
43. Sir J. D. REES

asked the Prime Minister whether he can state when the German Clearing Office will be established, in view of the delay which has occurred in the payment of enemy debts?

The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the BOARD OF TRADE (Mr. Bridge man)

I have been asked to reply. The German Government has not yet notified the establishment of its Clearing Office; but it is understood that the Office was opened on the 26th instant and the official notification is expected shortly.
