§ The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the MINISTRY of PENSIONS (Major Tryon)The appointment referred to was recently submitted for confirmation in accordance with the Regulations, but approval has been withheld, and the local committee have been asked to report as to the steps taken to give preference to 209 ex-service candidates. Their report has not yet been received.
