§ Mr. SHORTTThe number of taxi-cabs licensed during the year ended 31st March, 1920, was 5,716. The number of taxi-cabs licensed during the year ended 31st March, 1915, was 7,251.
§ 42. Mr. GILBERTasked the Home Secretary if he will state the number of motor omnibuses licensed by the Metropolitan police for the present year; what was the number licensed for the year 1914; and will he state if any of the new larger type of omnibus has been licensed this year and, if so, how many up to date?
§ Mr. SHORTTThe number of omnibuses licensed during the year ended 31st March, 1920, was 3,316. The number of omnibuses licensed during the year ended 31st March, 1915, was 2,771. No new omnibuses of the larger type have been licensed this year. Two were licensed in 1919.
