HC Deb 15 April 1920 vol 127 cc1850-1
Mr. CLYNES

May I ask the right hon. Gentleman whether he can now make a statement as to the business to be taken next week?

Mr. BONAR LAW

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday will be allocated to the Budget, and, if time is available on any of those days, progress will be made with, the Austrian Treaty and other Orders.

Thursday will be a Supply day, and the Vote will be announced later.

Motion made, and Question proposed, "That on this day, notwithstanding any thing in Standing Order No. 15, Business other than Business of Supply may be taken before Eleven of the Clock."— [Mr. Bonar Law.]

Mr. HOGGE

Can we be told why?

Mr. BONAR LAW

It is a purely formal Motion. If by and chance we are able to take any of the Money Resolutions, we shall lose the Supply Day unless this Motion be passed.

Question put, and agreed to.
