HC Deb 13 April 1920 vol 127 c1498
4. Lieut.-Commander KENWORTHY

asked the Secretary of State for War how-many recruits for His Majesty's Territorial Army have been obtained to date?

Owing to various causes there have been delays in opening recruiting and in appointing the officers on whose personal exertions and influence recruiting largely depends. In one hundred and fifty-six units recruiting has not yet been opened. In these circumstances any figures I might now give would be liable to mislead the hon. and gallant Member.
