HC Deb 13 April 1920 vol 127 c1501
13. Viscount CURZON

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Shipping Controller the number and size of ships salved since the Armistice; and whether he can give any estimate of the further number it is expected can be salved.

Colonel WILSON

Since the Ministry of Shipping took responsibility for salvage, subsequent to the Armistice, salvage operations have been completed on 34 vessels of 125,226 tons gross. I am afraid it is not possible to give any reliable estimate as to possible future salvage.
