asked the Prime Minister what precautions are at present being taken to guard the ex-Kaiser and the ex-Crown Prince?

Mr. HARMSWORTH

His Majesty's Government are unaware of the precise nature of the precautions which the Netherlands Government are taking for this purpose. They have, however, no reason to doubt that all necessary measures are adopted.

Has the hon. Gentleman any knowledge of the statement that there constant telephonic and telegraphic communication between the ex-Kaiser and his country?

Mr. HARMSWORTH

No, Sir; I have no knowledge of that.
