§ Sir E. GEDDESNo general revision of goods rates has been or can be made until the Rates Advisory Committee, to be set up under -Section 21 of the Ministry of Transport Act, is appointed. I hope that the last of these appointments will be made in the next few days, and the Committee will be asked, as their first task, to advise upon a scheme for an immediate increase of freight rates.
