HC Deb 27 November 1919 vol 121 c1881
78. Captain TERRELL

asked the Prime Minister whether he is aware that the delay in the production of the Interim Report of the Royal Commission on Agriculture is, owing to the uncertainty of the outlook, causing serious inconvenience to farmers; and can he tell the House when this Report may be expected?

The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the BOARD of AGRICULTURE (Sir Arthur Boscawen)

I have no information as to the cause of the delay referred to in the question of my hon. and gallant Friend, but I am advised that a Report may be expected within two or three weeks.

Captain TERRELL

May I ask the Prime Minister if he is aware that the land under cereals has decreased this year by 20 per cent.?

Mr. SPEAKER
