GEDDESThe only ferry boats which come directly under the jurisdiction of the Board of Trade are steam or motor boats; but any serious complaint that is made about any ferry is investigated by a Board of Trade surveyor, and the surveyor's recommendations are nearly always adopted. A complaint has been made about the Llanstephan ferry, and it is being investigated.
