asked the Under-secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether the British Government will, in the interests of British trade, do its utmost to facilitate the improvement of the train service between Western and Central Europe and, in particular, press for a revival of the Ostend-Brussels and Central Europe route?

His Majesty's Government are fully alive to the importance of this question, and the Belgian Government are being requested to endeavour to arrange for the resumption of the passenger train service to Central Europe viâ. Ostend and Brussels.
