HC Deb 18 November 1919 vol 121 cc340-1
12. Commander Viscount CURZON

asked the First Lord of the Admiralty whether Lord Jellicoe's Report upon the question of naval defence in the Pacific will be circulated to the Members of the House of Commons at an early date?

Mr. LONG

The Report in question is addressed to the Commonwealth Government, and not to the Admiralty. It will certainly not be possible to publish the whole of the Report, as it necessarily contains references to strategic considerations which cannot be disclosed. I will ascertain, however, what portions of it, If any, the Commonwealth Government are publishing, in order that similar information may be given to this House.
