HC Deb 17 November 1919 vol 121 c597
25. Commander Viscount CURZON

asked the Minister of Transport whether it is intended to introduce any legislation at an early date to revise and consolidate all Acts of Parliament affecting the use of motor and other vehicles in Great Britain?

Sir RHYS WILLIAMS

The Minister is appointing a Committee to advise him upon the necessity for new legislation to deal with the use of motor and other road vehicles.

Viscount CURZON

Is it not a fact that the Minister of Transport has recently been had up on three Sundays running for offences against the Motor Acts?

Sir R. WILLIAMS

No, Sir; not on three Sundays running.
