HC Deb 10 November 1919 vol 121 cc5-6
5. Mr. CHARLES EDWARDS

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether he had seen the statement made by Mr. Finlay Gibson, secretary of the South Wales and Monmouthshire Coal-owners' Association, to the effect that the coal-owners' profits were not limited to 1s. 2d. per ton; and, if so, would he at once take steps to give effect to the statements made both by himself and the Leader of the House on this point, and thus clear up this misunderstanding?

55. Mr. HARTSHORN

asked the Prime Minister whether he could state when a Bill would be introduced limiting coal-owners' profits to 1s. 2d. per ton?

Sir A. GEDDES
