68. Lieut.-Commander KENWORTHY

asked the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies whether His Majesty's Government are considering any alteration in the status of the Protectorates of Swaziland, Bechuanaland, and Basutoland; whether the inhabitants will be consulted before any change in status does take place; and whether the House of Commons will have an opportunity of debating the matter before any action is taken?
