HC Deb 05 November 1919 vol 120 cc1472-3
42. Lieut.-Colonel MALONE

asked the Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if he will state the latest developments in regard to the proposed conference of members of the Soviet Republic and the British Government with regard to the exchange of prisoners?

The UNDER-SECRETARY of STATE for FOREIGN AFFAIRS (Mr. Cecil Harmsworth)

The Danish Government having agreed to the personnel of the Mission representing the Soviet Government, arrangements are being made by His Majesty's Government for their journey across the Baltic, and as soon as these are completed it is hoped that the Soviet Government will avail themselves of the facilities offered; the meeting should, therefore, it is hoped, take place very shortly.
