HC Deb 28 May 1919 vol 116 c1223
72. Sir F. HALL

asked the Secretary of State for War if he will consider as to revising the basis of service pensions granted to officers, non-commissioned officers, and men before the War, in view of the increase which has since taken place in the cost of living?

Captain GUEST

This is a question for decision not by the Secretary of State for War but for the Government as a whole. I am not in a position to make any promise.

Sir F. HALL

May I ask the Leader of the House whether the Government will consider this matter?

Mr. BONAR LAW

I should like to have notice of that question.
