§ 29. Major Sir B. FALLEasked why the censorship of letters, etc., is still continued in the Islands of Jersey and Guernsey?
§ Mr. FORSTERI have been asked to answer this question. So long as censorship continues in the United Kingdom, so long is it necessary to continue the censorship in the Channel Islands. The mails which are subject to censorship there are examined under the same Regulations as apply to similar mails to and from the United Kingdom.
§ Mr. BILLINGIs it proposed to abolish the censorship on the signing of Peace?
§ Mr. FORSTERI hope it may be possible to abolish the censorship as soon as the blockade ceases.
