HC Deb 26 May 1919 vol 116 cc827-8
52. Mr. WALLACE

asked the Prime Minister whether his attention has been drawn to the published statement that the provisional claim of the Chartered Company against His Majesty's Government of £7,500,000 is incomplete, and that several millions are to be added for interest, public works, and charges arising out of the War; and whether any indication has yet been given to His Majesty's Government of how many millions sterling are likely to be added to the provisional claim of £7,500,000?

Lieut.-Colonel AMERY

The answer to both parts of the question is in the negative.
