HC Deb 20 May 1919 vol 116 c204
81. Sir SAMUEL SCOTT

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Board of Agriculture whether he is aware that the Regulations prohibiting the removal of dogs from one area to another inflict great hardship upon serving soldiers who own dogs, as when ordered to move their stations they are unable to take their dogs, and have no place to leave them; and what action he proposes to take?

The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the BOARD of AGRICULTURE (Sir Arthur Boscawen)

The Board are aware of the circumstances to which my hon. Friend draws attention, but they regret that they have no alternative but must submit soldiers to the same restrictions as effect other members of the public.
