Captain GUESTIn consequence of the circulation of documents containing a number of mendacious statements concerning the conduct of British troops in Egypt, search was made yesterday afternoon by the police at the Imperial Hotel in a room rented by an Egyptian. Copies of a number of such documents were seized, and are now being considered by the Director of Public Prosecutions.
