HC Deb 19 May 1919 vol 116 c29
60. Sir KINGSLEY WOOD

asked the Prime Minister whether the Government have come to any decision concerning the permanent strength of Woolwich Arsenal; if not, whether, pending such decision, consideration will be given to the question of the discharges that are now taking place; and whether he can indicate what steps the Government are taking to obtain alternative work for the Arsenal?

Mr. BONAR LAW

The answer to the first part of the question is in the negative, but the Government are doing everything in their power to meet the special difficulties at Woolwich.
