HC Deb 19 May 1919 vol 116 c4
8. Mr. DONALD

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether his attention has been drawn to the inconvenience experienced by the workers and the public in general by the absence of interchangeable tickets on the Great Northern and the Belfast and County Down Railways between Belfast and Newcastle, county Down, and between Newcastle and Castle wellan, as is permissible on the Great Northern and Midland Railways; and will the Railway Executive Committee take steps to put this matter right in the interest of the public?

Sir A. GEDDES

My attention had not previously been called to this matter. I am communicating with the Irish Railway Executive Committee in regard to it, and will let the hon. Gentleman know the result.
