HC Deb 14 May 1919 vol 115 cc1594-5
77. Commander Sir EDWARD NICHOLL

asked the Postmaster-General if he will give instructions to begin at once the new post office for St. Austell, plans of which were approved before war started, and thereby give employment to some 200 labourers, demobilised soldiers, and others who have been doing war work, and now out of employment, and many drawing unemployment pay?

Mr. ILLINGWORTH

A sum for commencing work this year upon a new post office for St. Austell has been included in the draft Estimates presented to Parliament, and now under consideration.
