§ 84. General CROFTasked the Secretary of State for War whether his attention has been called to the proportion of killed to wounded and missing amongst the casualties in Russia; whether this indicates the treatment of British soldiers who 1349 fall into the hands of the Bolsheviks; and whether he can make a statement on the subject?
§ Mr. CHURCHILLIt is not possible to draw from the proportion of killed to wounded and missing in North Russia any definite conclusions as to the treatment of British soldiers who fall into the hands of the Bolsheviks. The total number involved is so small that comparisons are misleading.
