§ Sir A. GEDDESIt is hoped that it may be possible to relax the administration of the Household Fuel and Lighting Order, 1918, from 30th June next. The matter is now under consideration, but the decision must depend upon the extent to which the output of coal may be increased in the interval. Although supplies of coal for household purposes are now somewhat in excess of actual consumption, in consequence of the warmer weather, the first task will be to secure reserves sufficient to guarantee the future distribution.
