HC Deb 06 May 1919 vol 115 c728
12. Major WHELER

asked what were the prices given by the Government in 191–18 to Canadian farmers for wool; and how do these prices compare with those given to farmers in the United Kingdom for the same period?

The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the MINISTRY of MUNITIONS (Mr. Kellaway)

The British Government have not purchased Canadian wool. I cannot, therefore, give my hon. and gallant Friend the information asked for in the second part of the question.
