§ Mr. FORSTERIf by "widows' gratuities" my hon. and gallant Friend means the war gratuity due to deceased soldiers, this becomes part of their estates, and goes to the legal heirs. The issue of these gratuities has already commenced, and cases are being dealt with in the order of the date of death, as was explained in the reply given to the hon. and gallant Member for Lonsdale on the 1st May.
