HC Deb 06 May 1919 vol 115 cc742-3
50. Lieutenant-Colonel C. LOWTHER

asked the Prime Minister whether it has been decided that the ex-Emperor of Germany is not to be punished; and, if so, whether the same immunity from justice is to be extended to other German criminals?

Mr. SHORTT

The answer to the first part of the question is in the negative. The last part, therefore, does not arise.

Lieutenant-Colonel LOWTHER

Is there any truth in the report that the ex-Emperor's name is to be down in the next British honours list?
