§ Dr. MACNAMARAThe answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative, so far as officers below the rank or relative rank of Flag officer are concerned. Officers of Flag rank and officers reverting to unemployment at their own request are still, however, placed on half-pay. The whole question of half-pay after the War is now under the consideration of a Committee.
