In the application of this Act to Ireland:

  1. (a) The first day of May shall be substituted for Lady Day in the case of tenancies where the former day is the gale day;
  2. (b) The medical officer of health of a dispensary district shall be substituted for the sanitary authority in Section two of this Act, and the issue of certificates and the payment of fees in connection with applications by tenants under the said Section shall be subject to regulations to be made by the Local Government Board for Ireland.
