§ Mr. FISHERThe Indian delegation at the Peace Conference is fully cognisant of the special interests of Indian Mahomedans in the peace settlement, and the Secretary of State would take this opportunity of assuring his hon. and gallant Friend that he and his colleagues have charged themselves with the advocacy of Indian Mahomedan interests in the conviction that these form an essential part of the interests of India.
