§ Mr. SHORTTI cannot give figures in answer to the first paragraph of the question as separate records of the cases have not been kept, but I am advised that the number is small. All such persons haveto register with the police and are subject to all the restrictions imposed on 2213 aliens during the War, and the police have had authority to impose additional restrictions in any special cases where they appeared to be called for.
