HC Deb 19 March 1919 vol 113 c2092
71. Colonel ASHLEY

asked the President of the Local Government Board whether, in the case of the assistant sanitary and water inspector appointed the week before last by the Oswestry Town Council, the Council took steps to circulate particulars of the post which was vacant through the Labour Exchange Bureaux throughout the country so that ex-Service men might have the opportunity of applying?

Mr. PRATT

My right hon. Friend has not the information asked for, but he has communicated with the town council, and will acquaint the hon. and gallant Member with the result.

Colonel ASHLEY

I will put down this and the next question for this day week.
