HC Deb 17 March 1919 vol 113 c1704
19. Sir J. D. REES

asked when restrictions upon the export of butter from Ireland will be removed?

The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the MINISTRY of FOOD (Mr. McCurdy)

I have been asked to reply. The Ministry of Food already purchases the total exportable surplus of butter from Ireland, and it is anticipated that it will be necessary to continue to do so during the next season.
