§ Mr. WARDLEThe General Post Office was included among the Government Departments which were recently invited to submit nominations of women serving on their staff for consideration for certain higher appointments in the Ministry of Labour. The replies to this invitation have been forwarded to the Treasury to be dealt with under the general procedure recently adopted in regard to the transfers of officers between Government Departments.
