55. Mr. H. JONES

asked the Prime Minister whether he has received representations from local authorities and public bodies in Wales in favour of the continuation of the existing restrictions on the sale of intoxicating liquors; and whether he will exclude Wales and Monmouthshire from any modification of the existing Regulations which may be contemplated?


The answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative, but I do not think it would be desirable to make the differentiation referred to in the last part of the question.
