HC Deb 10 March 1919 vol 113 c871
Mr. MACMASTER (by Private Notice)

asked the Secretary of State for War whether he has any statement to make in regard to the recent regrettable discontent and breach of discipline among Canadian soldiers at a Welsh Camp awaiting shipment to their homes, on the conclusion of long and meritorious service in the field?

Captain GUEST (Joint Parliamentary Secretary to the Treasury)

A Court of Inquiry has been set up by the Canadian military authorities to investigate thoroughly the whole circumstances. I think that the House will agree with me that as the matter is still subjudice, it would be improper for me to make any statement. The Canadian military authorities issued a statement which was published in Saturday morning's papers.
