HC Deb 06 March 1919 vol 113 cc605-6
52. Mr. RONALD McNEILL

asked the Prime Minister if his attention has been called to the objections urged by impor- tant organs of public opinion in France to the proposed destruction of the interned German fleet; and whether, in the event of the French Government desiring to take over a portion of that fleet, he can give an assurance that the views of our French Ally will be supported by the British representatives in the Peace Conference?

Mr. BONAR LAW

The answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. As regards the second part, I cannot add anything to the previous replies which I have given on this subject.
