HC Deb 03 March 1919 vol 113 c26
35. Mr. PRETYMAN

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Board of Agriculture whether the Government propose to purchase this year's wool clip in the British Islands; and, if not, whether the control will be withdrawn and the wool growers allowed to sell in the open market?

Mr. PRATT (Lord of the Treasury)

I have been asked to reply. The answer to the first part of my right hon. and gallant Friend's question is in the negative, and to the second part in the affirmative.
