asked the Prime Minister whether, having regard to the dangerous and trying nature of the coal miners' occupation, he will endeavour to arrange an agreement with America, through the economic section of the League of Nations, whereby the working hours of coal miners in Great Britain and America would be reduced to the same level with a view to removing one of the principal objections to the granting of the miners' present demands in this country?
