HC Deb 03 March 1919 vol 113 c28
39. Colonel YATE

asked the Minister of National Service if he will say what decision has been come to regarding the proposals of the Ministry of Reconstruction and Ministry of Labour on the question of enabling apprentices whose training has been interrupted by the War to continue their training so that they become skilled workmen?

Mr. WARDLE

I would refer the hon. and gallant Member to the answer which I have given to-day to the hon. Member for the Dartford Division of Kent.

Colonel YATE

Is it proposed to subsidise the wages of apprentices and journeymen?

Mr. WARDLE

I must ask for notice of that.
