HC Deb 26 June 1919 vol 117 cc340-1
103. Mr. H. JONES

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Shipping Controller whether, in view of the growing dissatisfaction shown by the public at the expenditure of public money at the national shipyards at Portbury, Chepstow, and Beachley, the Government will institute an inquiry into the alleged waste, such inquiry to be on lines similar to that of Cippenham?

Colonel WILSON

I would refer my hon. Friend to the reply given to the hon. Member for Cardiff Central on 2nd April last, to which I have nothing to add.
