§ Mr. SHORTTThe statistics obtained under the National Registration Scheme do not distinguish between white and coloured labourers, and I regret, therefore, that the figures asked for by the hon. Member are not available. Statistics are, however, now being collected at the principal centres where there is a large coloured population.
