Mr. LORT-WILLIAMSasked the Prime Minister whether he is aware that the sacrifices and casualties of the War have created many cases in which there is a desire on the part of men whose brothers have been killed to enter into matrimony with their sisters-in-law, and thus to make provision for them and their families and to mitigate the privation and suffering caused by the death of the breadwinner; and whether he will introduce legislation to put marriage with a deceased brother's wife upon the same footing as marriage with a deceased wife's sister?
