§ Sir D. MACLEANCan the Leader of the House tell us what business he proposes to take to-night in the event of the Second Heading of the Indian Bill being finished and some time being left over for other business? If that is the case would lie pass over the second Order on the Paper, the Land Acquisition Bill? Can he say what business he proposes to take on the reassembling of the House after Whitsuntide, and will he consider at an early stage after our reassembling the question of relaying Estimates of the Army, Navy, and Air Force?
§ Mr. BONAR LAWI have not considered the last question, but I will do so. As regards to-day's business- my right hon. Friend desires that the Acquisition of Land Bill should not be taken, but I do not think it would be possible to accede to that request if it should be happen that the Debate on the Government of India Bill finishes at an early hour. But we shall not take the Acquisition of Land Bill unless it is reached by 8.30. As to the Orders on the Paper we desire to get to-day as far as No. 3. On the reassembling of the House, the 24th June, will be a Supply Day and the Munitions Vote will be taken. On the Wednesday and Thursday the business will be the Ways and Communications Bill (Report).
