Lieut.-Commander KENWORTHYasked the Secretary of State for War whether a special medal will be awarded for service in expeditions to Russia since the signing of the Armistice with Ger many, Austria-Hungary, Bulgaria, and Turkey; and will the House of Commons have an opportunity of discussing the design on such medals?
§ Mr. CHURCHILLAt the moment there is no intention of awarding a special medal, but as operations in Russia are still continuing, it is impossible at present to estimate their scope, and therefore difficult to say whether a special medal in commemoration of such services will be required.
