§ Mr. BALDWINI am informed that this post has now been vacant for two and a half months. It is necessary that the holder of it should possess special qualifications, and careful consideration is therefore being given to the selection of the new appointee, whose name will, I hope, be announced shortly. In the meantime the duties of the post are being efficiently performed by a locum tenens.
