HC Deb 02 June 1919 vol 116 cc1683-4
78. Captain ORMSBY-GORE

asked the Under-Secretary of State to the Air Ministry whether he will publish a Report on the causes and circumstances of the failure on trial of the Tarrant triplane at Farnborough, which resulted in the loss of the lives of two officers of the Air Force?

Major-General SEELY

The Tarrant triplane was built for military purposes to the order of the Government, and it-would not be in the interest of the public service for the results of a technical investigation into the causes of the accident to be published.
